Five (5) school-board positions are opening in November 2021
Encompasses the southeastern portion of the School District generally east of West Lake Creek, south of US Highway 6 (from Edwards to Avon Road), the area between US Highway 6 and Interstate 70 from Avon Road east to the Minturn interchange, including Eagle-Vail, and all areas west and south of US Highway 24 extending south to the District boundary/county line.
Incumbent: Tessa Kirchner
Encompasses the eastern portion of the School District including all areas east of US Highway 24 from the southern District boundary to the Minturn interchange with Interstate 70, the Town of Vail, East Vail, and most of the Avon Elementary School attendance area north of Interstate 70 except the area west of Metcalf Creek. It also includes the Red Sandstone Elementary School attendance area east of US Highway 24 and a small portion of the Homestake Peak Elementary School attendance area north of north of US Highway 6 west of the Minturn interchange.
Incumbent: Kate Cocchiarella
Encompasses the southwestern portion of the School District including the Town of Gypsum and the Dotsero area that lie south of Interstate 70. It excludes the area between Union Pacific Railway and I-70 from Eagle River Road on the east to the Gypsum interchange on the west (in district C). It is bounded on the east, generally, by Buckhorn Valley Boulevard and Road 8382 including most of the Spring Creek valley and the Gypsum Creek valley south to its confluence with the Miller Ditch.
Incumbent: Fernando Almanda
Includes portions of Eagle-Vail and Avon north of US Highway 6 and south of Interstate 70 from Avon Road west to Reserve Road, then north to the Union Pacific Railroad and west to the Edwards Access Road plus a small area north of I-70 west of the Edwards Access Road to about 500 feet east of Prairie Circle and south of Berry Creek and Rawhide Roads. It also includes the Avon Elementary attendance area north of I-70 as well as small portions of the northeast June Creek Elementary attendance area and northwest Homestake Peak K-8 attendance area.
Incumbent: Michelle Stecher, Secretary/Tres.
Encompasses the south central portion of the District generally south of Interstate 70, west of the Edwards Access Road, including the Homestead Court Club area, Cordillera and most of Edwards Elementary School's attendance area as well as the rural area of Eagle Valley Elementary School's attendance area south of I-70. It extends west to approximately Buckhorn Valley Road east of Gypsum. Further, it encompasses the upper Gypsum Creek area south of its confluence with the Miller Ditch.
